It will be warm in the summer on Monday, but towards the evening the weather will change and the RMI expects thunderstorms that can be very fierce locally. The meteorological institute therefore issues code yellow.
Monday starts out quite sunny, but in the west the clouds increase quickly and there may be a few showers. In the late afternoon, the chance of locally fierce showers increases, with thunderstorms and gusts of wind. The mercury climbs to 25 degrees at the sea and in High Belgium and to 31 degrees elsewhere. This is reported by the RMI.
In the course of the evening and night, showers will pass over our country. These can be accompanied by thunderstorms, a lot of precipitation in a short time and gusts of wind. The mercury drops to minimums between 14 and 17 degrees.

Tuesday starts dry with clear spells, although clouds dominate again in the afternoon. Towards the evening and the night a new thunderstorm zone reaches our country. It will be quite warm with maximums between 22 and 27 degrees.
Wednesday starts dry again, but towards the evening new rain and thunderstorms make their appearance. It will be 21 to 26 degrees.
In the second part of the week it will remain unsettled and it will become noticeably cooler.
