Princess Maria Laura (34) will marry her fiancé, William Isvy (31) next Saturday.

Laura is a daughter of Princess Astrid of Belgium, sister of King Philippe, and Prince Lorenz of Belgium, Archduke of Austria-Este. The whole family, including Laura’s relatively new aunt Delphine, is invited. It will be the biggest royal wedding of the year. The mother of the bride was a little emotional about it.

For the law

The couple gets married in the morning before the law in the town hall of Brussels, here only the closest family is present. It will be a multilingual event in French, Dutch, German and English (the latter to allow Williams family to enjoy it).

At the press conference, Astrid and Lorenz looked back at their own (rainy) wedding day. Astrid wore a dress with impressive puff sleeves in 1984!

Church wedding

The church wedding is at half past two in the afternoon. The mass will last 75 minutes and will be attended by 500 guests.

Her father will accompany Laura to the altar, the bride’s children are Anna Astrid and Maximilian, the children of her brother Amedeo.

And Prince Lorenz showed himself a little frugal father-in-law
