Brasschaat/Kapellen

During the second week of the Easter holidays, Fiber Proximus is carrying out utility works in the cycle path on the Pauwelslei between Fortsebaan and Miksebeekstraat. Joint fillings are being replaced on the Hoogboomsteenweg to limit noise pollution.

On the Pauwelslei, these works ensure one-way traffic towards Miksebaan. A diversion will be provided via Miksebaan, Borrekenslei, Bredabaan and Pauwelslei. Cyclists maintain a dual direction of travel via a passage over the road.

At the same time, the joint filling on the Hoogboomsteenweg between Max Hermanlei and Lage Kaart will be replaced. These works were repeatedly postponed this winter due to bad weather and low temperatures. They are now taking place at the same time as the asphalt paving works in Kapellen. The Hoogboomsteenweg is therefore closed in both directions in Kapellen. During the second week of the Easter holidays, one-way traffic is provided. Traffic can only drive from Lage Kaart towards Kapellen to the border with Kapellen. Traffic from Kapellen to Lage Kaart follows a diversion route via Max Hermanlei and Hoge Akkers. The works will run from April 8 to April 13. (jbr)
