“To make my dream come true, I even worked as a truck driver.” Since the well-known Antwerp pilot school BAFA closed its doors earlier this year, the dream of Philipp Hofmann (29) from Deurne – like that of dozens of other students who want to cleave through the air in an airplane – has been shattered. A story about an incredible passion from childhood. And a very hard landing. “Suddenly it seemed like ‘the sky was the limit’… But we never saw the promised planes.” Because Philipp wants to complete his education elsewhere, he set up a support campaign.
