Jean-Pierre De Meester (50), a truck driver from Deinze, was stopped by the police in the Walloon municipality of Silly on a street where he was not allowed to drive his truck. The man tried to bypass the barriers by protesting farmers on the E19. He does not intend to simply accept the 184 euro fine he received. “For me, that’s two sizes and two weights,” he grumbles.
