Naumy

Naumy, a French fast-fashion retailer that profiles itself with its low prices, has opened its first store in the center of Liège. The chain is also coming to Namur.

Fashion and makeup

An interesting newcomer has entered the Belgian market: Naumy opened its second Belgian store last weekend in the Galeries Saint-Lambert shopping center in Liège, reports the website todayinliege.be. The French fashion discounter offers a particularly wide range of products for women, men and children on 1,700 m² over two floors. In addition to clothing, the chain also sells make-up. Prices vary from 10 euros for jeans or a dress to 150 euros for more exclusive pieces.

In France, Naumy now has more than forty physical points of sale and an online shop. The chain emphatically wants to be a local competitor of the Irish chain Primark, with low-priced fashion that is 60% produced in Europe – the rest of the supply comes from China. New collections appear in stores every week, which are not kept in stock. The retailer is aiming for rapid growth, with the ambition to have a hundred stores by the end of this year. In Belgium, the first store opened last autumn in Brussels’ Nieuwstraat, Namur would be the next target.
