IZEGEM – For the second time in a row, Penta Reizen from Izegem was declared the numero uno of the sector. A year ago, travel entrepreneur Pieter Demuynck moved with his team to an art deco house on the outskirts of Izegem. Penta Reizen is literally at home in all markets, and also offers the most diverse formulas for various target groups.
Penta Reizen not only survived the corona, it also invested in difficult times, with a daring move from the center of Izegem to the edge of the city, where they moved into a beautiful civilian house from the 1920s.
But the customers followed. Even more: according to Pieter Demuynck, travelers are increasingly finding their way to a traditional travel agency, because they are tired of selecting and planning their trip themselves. The services that travel agents offer, coupled with their experience, tilt the balance again.
Penta Reizen offers the whole world. A separate company was set up for travel to the United States (Penta’s USA) and that turned out to be a direct hit. Pieter Demuynck’s company has already won several prestigious prizes in the past and is therefore certainly not a one-hit wonder.
