WAREGEM – Dominiek Valcke, CEO of TVH, is on the shortlist of three managers who were selected to compete for the title ‘Manager of the Year’. He is eligible to succeed Rika Coppens (CEO of the Roeselare House of HR). Valcke can even be called a favorite, given the stunning course he rides with TVH.

The West Flemish multinational TVH grew further between 2021 and 2022, from 1.347 billion euros in turnover to 1.622 billion. The operating result (258 million euros) and net profit (131 million) were also on the rise during that period. TVH employs almost 5,000 people worldwide.

TVH is a recognized specialist in parts for all kinds of industrial machines. Forklifts provide more than half of the pie. TVH’s database has no fewer than 47 million references. The company has 90 branches worldwide, but has permanently anchored itself in West Flanders with a new and sectacular headquarters.

Dominiek Valcke has been at the helm of TVH since 2008. The 53-year-old commercial engineer is widely praised, both in-house and by the outside world. He is best known as a true people manager and strategist. Once, in his early years, he worked as a consultant for Omega Pharma. The 39th Manager of the Year will be announced on January 10. In addition to Valcke, Lieve Monstrey and Kobe Verdonck of SD Worx, who are leaving Euroclear, are also candidates.
