“He is a player who represents the club and has everything to succeed,” says Nicolas Frutos in the RTBF program La Tribune. “I loved watching him play, he is everywhere and full of confidence. He is the best summer transfer in the entire league. He makes Dreyer and Dolberg better.”
The 30-year-old left winger needed some time to find the right rhythm. Thorgan Hazard has been in the spotlight in recent matches and, according to most analysts, has a chance of being selected for the Red Devils.
Hazard provided two assists in seven league matches. Scoring in the Anderlecht shirt was not yet an option.
Thorgan Hazard cost 4 million euros. Borussia Dortmund loaned him to PSV Eindhoven in January, where he barely featured due to injuries. Anderlecht offered Hazard a contract until mid-2026.
