Perhaps it is the ultimate form of luxury: a tailor-made perfume, like an olfactory signature. Pharmacist Kristof Lefebre offers a permanent unisex perfume line and custom perfumes at Miglot Fragrance Lab. There is also an accompanying bath line, interior fragrances, textile sprays and detergent. Lefebre accepts eight private projects per year. A service that costs 5,500 euros for the development of a perfume and a beautiful bottle with a small diamond. The entire process takes about a year, as he considers it essential to be able to smell the perfume during all four seasons.

Davy De Pourcq

Chef Davy De Pourcq started his own business for private top dinners at home. You can hire him and his wife Pauline De Groote for intimate dinners, walking dinners and other (garden) parties for up to eighty people. De Pourcq does not work with fixed formulas, but completely tailor-made to the customer. He combines his base of classic French cuisine with the Asian influences he learned in the kitchen of Sergio Herman, with salt-crusted sea bass as his signature dish. Vandersteene wine estate

This year they won gold at the competition for Best Belgian wine of the Association of Flemish Sommeliers and silver at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles: Wijndomein Vandersteene proves that wines from Flemish soil are anything but inferior to their southern competitors. For their bottles they only use grapes from their own vineyard in Zwijnaarde. Under the watchful eye of experts from the Champagne region, they create sparkling, white, red and rosé wines, from their award-winning Blanc de Blancs and Blanc de Noirs to Belgian bubbles and grape juice.

Over the past fourteen years, Koen Van Weverberg and Ruben Opheide have built up impressive expertise that goes beyond classic tailoring. Since 2018, their business has been aiming for contemporary, tailor-made clothing, combining expertise with innovative materials and techniques, such as Japanese denim or knitwear. Their love for the profession is evident from the many self-written articles on their website about the history of men’s fashion and tailoring. The Alfred Collection

Since 2009, Marie Mees and Cathérine Biasino have joined forces as The Alfred Collection. Together they create luxurious home textiles in natural materials and colors. Their table linen can be found on the dining table of Sergio Herman and Calvin Klein. In recent years, curtains and carpets have also been added to the range. “Our carpets are hand-woven in pure wool in Portugal or Nepal. Because everything is made by hand, we can design each piece custom-made and on request. So we are not tied to print runs. That is also the fun for us as designers.” Marie and Cathérine work from their studio, where they receive customers by appointment between samples and prototypes, but they also come to their home to work on space and location. The Mortier family and its refined butcher shop have been a household name in Nevele since 1882. Fifth-generation scion Cédric Mortier has been bringing a breath of fresh air since 2011.
