Flamingo Pet Products wins Belgian E-commerce Award for B2B webshop

The Olense Flamingo Pet Products was awarded a prize for the best B2B Webshop in Belgium during the presentation of the Belgian E-commerce Awards 2023.

The Belgian E-commerce Awards by Jury reward web shops that are active in specific market segments such as B2B, export and marketplaces. Based on the submitted file, the jury placed Flamingo Pet Products in the top 3 together with, for example, About You, Raja, VeePee and Just Russel. The Olen company outdid everyone and won the top prize for B2B webshop.

In 2021, Flamingo Pet Products launched a new website with an online catalog and tips for pet owners. Since February 2022, professional customers have also been able to shop in a user-friendly B2B webshop. For example, customers can visit the webshop for a lot of product information and files such as images, videos and PDFs. There are also many B2B functionalities such as a barcode scanner and data exchange systems such as GS1. Flamingo itself is a pioneer here by setting the chips for pets.

In the first half of 2023, the total webshop turnover increased by +62% compared to the first half of 2022. This led to an increase in the share of the webshop in the total turnover from 6.14% to 8.08% . The number of registrations on the webshop has also doubled in the first half of 2023 compared to 2022. On average, this increases by 10% per quarter.
