“We started the label four years ago, just before corona. Now we also have the opportunity to play our tracks in front of an audience,” Voet explains. The resident DJs are Zolex, Barto Anello, Roel Butzen, Ordin Air, Woktrax and Vana Vivacious. They are all connected to the label. The grand opening will be headlined by German DJ Jens Lissat.

In recent months, new clubs have opened in Brussels, including UMI, also in the city center. There are also clubs such as C12 and Fuse. But Voet is not afraid of competition.

“Our style is quite specific, dark techno with a twist old school. That is also the concept of the label. It is mainly about new and experimental music. We also hope that we can inspire DJs at other clubs,” Voet explains.

Specific style

Moreover, it is a relatively small club with a maximum capacity of 250 visitors. “That just allows us to choose a very specific style. Larger clubs have to take a little more into account of contemporary trends.”

The evenings are organized in the existing club Nostalgia. The intention is to organize an event every Friday evening. In the same building there is also the Latino bar La Clave.
