Central Perk Coffeehouse previously toured the United States as a pop-up business, but now there is also a permanent location. The interior is more modern than that of the series, but it has the same cozy, colorful atmosphere. The decor is full of references to the popular TV series. There is the iconic ‘Friends’ seat and all customers drink from very colorful mugs. The items on the menu are also inspired by the show: there is the ‘Pivot Blend’ and the ‘We’re On A Coffee Break’.
The business will be located on Newbury Street, a well-known tourist attraction in Boston, Massachusetts. Central Perk serves different types of coffee and snacks, as you would expect from an average coffee house. The company says it dedicates the business to Matthew Perry, who appeared as Chandler Bing in ‘Friends’ from 1994 to 2004. The grand opening would normally have taken place earlier, but was postponed due to his sudden death. The doors will open again on November 14. An ideal rest stop for ‘Friends’ fans who want to book a city trip to the US.
