Prince William is in Singapore this week for the presentation of his Earthshot Prize next Tuesday. Unfortunately, his wife Catherine, the Princess of Wales, is not with us. And the reason why she stays in the UK is very sweet.
Prince William was instilled with his love for sustainability by his father King Charles. Now that his father is king and is allowed to make less political statements about the climate, his son Prince William is taking over from him. The Princess of Wales stays at home with the children, and for good reason.
Catherine stays home to cheer on Prince George
The princess stays at home to assist their son Prince George (10) during his school exams. But Prince William is not sad about being alone in Singapore. The prince says in a message on X that it is “fantastic” to be back in Singapore. According to the prince, the Asian city-state is a “leader” in the field of environmental innovation. “I am grateful to the Singapore people for hosting us this week. Let us all take inspiration from the fantastic work being done here as we honor this year’s Earthshot Prize finalists.”

The prince will leave for his family again on Wednesday.
