Friends of Jennifer Aniston have been concerned about the actress since the death of Matthew Perry. That’s what Page Six writes. “It’s her second major loss in less than a year,” her friends say.
“Of the remaining cast members, it’s mainly Jen and Courtney who are having a hard time. And Jen may be the one who has the hardest time with it,” friends say Page Six. According to them, the fact that Matthew Perry’s death is particularly hard is due to the fact that she lost two loved ones in one year. Because less than a year ago, her father, the man she called “one of the most beautiful people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing,” passed away at the age of 89. A loss she still struggles with.
“She still hadn’t fully recovered from it,” the source said. “Matthew’s death dealt her another heavy blow. She tries to get a grip again and get on top, but the ground disappeared from under her feet again.”
Aniston and Perry have always been close. During an interview in 2004, the actress burst into tears at the idea of losing Perry to his drug and alcohol addiction. Aniston was also the one who first contacted Perry when those addictions started to spiral out of control during the filming of Friends. “I am extremely grateful to her,” Perry said in an interview last year.
Last Friday, Aniston attended Perry’s funeral with her ‘Friends’ colleagues. But the cast only stayed for the ceremony, afterwards they left to let the family say goodbye in peace.
Perry died in his jacuzzi at the end of October, no traces of drugs were found and there was no evidence of foul play, but the final conclusions of the autopsy are still awaited.
