The book is published a year after Prince Harry released his book ‘Reserve’ in which he made revelations about the British royal family.
Gary Goldsmith is the younger brother of Carole Middleton, mother of the Princess of Wales. He is currently putting the finishing touches to his memoirs about the Middleton family and the royal family. He wants to be a voice for the Middletons after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attacks on the British royal family.
Initially, Goldsmith didn’t want to reveal any details about his family or his niece, but it appears he has made an about-face. “Gary has been speaking a lot to the press lately and his comments seem to be going down well with some people, especially his criticism of Harry and Meghan. He originally intended the book to focus on himself and his journey to becoming a millionaire, but will now include some private family details,” the insider said.
While there will be a few revelations in the book, some sources say that both Carole and Kate Middleton will read the final version before it goes to the publisher for print. “Gary is still very close to both Carole and Kate,” the source added. “He won’t want to do anything to embarrass them, but it could be a good way to get a Middleton voice out there to correct the things Harry wrote about in ‘Reserve’.”
No response expected
Since rumors of the publication of Goldsmith’s story came to light, there has been speculation that Harry and Meghan had not expected a backlash. “When Harry was putting together his book, his publisher was adamant that William would not comment as it would not be appropriate for a future king to do so,” a source told New Magazine. It is not yet clear when the book will be on the shelves.
