Heidi Klum dresses up as a peacock

--

After tantalizing her followers with an unfinished version of her costume on Instagram – which didn’t reveal too much – she made a grand entrance at her annual Halloween party in New York on Tuesday night. Heidi – dressed entirely in blue – was the peacock’s neck and face. Ten other people around her represented her peacock feathers. All together they formed one imposing bird.

To speak to ‘Page Six’ on the red carpet, she said goodbye to her feathers, which were all Cirque du Soleil acrobats. “I feel very naked now,” he said. “ I need all my friends around me. I thought it would be fun to do a costume with a bunch of people, where we all make great shapes.”

Like every year, Klum’s husband Tom Kaulits appeared in a matching suit. He dressed up as a giant peacock egg, which increased the level of madness a bit. Leni Klum, the model’s 19-year-old daughter, was also present. However, she was not part of her mother’s impressive idea and was seen as a sexy version of Strawberry Shortcake.

Every year Heidi Klum throws a big Halloween party, for which she always brings out an amazing costume from her closet. Last year she walked – or climbed – the red carpet as an earthworm, with her husband at her side as a fisherman. Previously, she also appeared as a very realistic old lady, as a beautiful and colorful butterfly, as the green version of Fiona from ‘Shrek’ and as a terrifying zombie alien.
