Eating and drinking is probably the last thing on your mind, but eventually you need to regain your strength. We have listed some gems that will help you with this.

1. Bowl of warm chicken soup
There’s a good chance that your mother used to spoil you with a cup of chicken soup when you got the flu at home. According to, it has been recommended for hundreds of years as a medicine against flu and colds. This soup is packed with minerals, vitamins and proteins. And it’s also easy to make!

2. Eating bananas during the flu
