Actress Emma Watson had her very first film role in 2001 and that was also her breakthrough. Of course we are talking about the role of Hermione Granger / Hermione Granger Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone alias Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
It wasn’t until 2007 that we saw her in a different role. She starred in the TV movie Ballet Shoes and we heard her in the animated film a year later The Tale of Despereaux.
Movies and fame
She eventually starred in eight films in the Harry Potterfilm series. After that she was seen in films like My Week with Marilyn, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Bling Ring, Noah and Beauty and the Beast.
After her last film for now Little Women it became very quiet around Emma. “You will see me less on the red carpet and more often as a speaker at conferences,” she said in an interview in 2020. “I want to give others a voice.”
