No fewer than 19 complaints of sexual misconduct were received about Jeroen Rietbergen, Linda de Mol’s then partner. Anouk admits that she had heard stories about him before. “The only thing I had ever heard – years ago, when I didn’t know Jeroen at all – was that he was a flirt and always cheated.”
“I hear so many things”
At the time, she didn’t attach too much importance to it. “I hear so many things. People also hear things about me that aren’t true at all, so I don’t blindly accept everything I hear through the grapevine.” Her bond with Jeroen at the time was not as close as with Ali B. Anouk was immediately on the phone with him when the accusations came out.

“Yes, he said it was consensual. I wasn’t there, so I really don’t know what happened. But look, it would never occur to me to visit a candidate at night or invite him to the studio.” Anouk still has contact with him Ali to this day. “Sometimes I still get a text. I just react calmly to that, because I simply don’t know what happened. It is not that I doubt the other person, but I also do not want to draw conclusions prematurely.”
Curious
While she reacted strongly to the scandal at the time, she has now become somewhat more lenient. “I especially hope that this case makes some progress. For both parties, because it is taking a very long time now. And I must honestly say: I am very curious.”
