The Limburg singer still tours our country, but her foreign tours are less well known. This autumn in the Netherlands, for example, and on December 29 the singer will be in a rugby stadium in South Africa. But her most special performance is scheduled for January. Then she travels to the Thai capital Bangkok to perform for locals.

“In English, of course,” she says in Het Belang van Limburg. “They discovered me there via YouTube with my version of ‘One Moment In Time’ in ‘Liefde voor Muziek’. The clips have, together, already been viewed two hundred million times. People who know something about it tell me that’s a lot.”

A few years ago, Dana also performed in Jakarta, Indonesia. “They discovered it through my clip of ‘The Sound Of Silence’. When I was in the Lotto Arena in 2019, people came from China. And in Bruges there were Canadians, South Africans, Australians and British. They must have thought: ‘If she doesn’t come to us, we’ll go to her.’” (laughs)
