Dakota Johnson is mainly known for the Fifty Shades of Grey-trilogy. These films gave her her big break, but despite the fact that she became famous thanks to the series, it was not always easy to film this.
Although the films were not all equally well received, they were all box-office successes. There was a lot of buzz about the franchise because of all the ‘spicy scenes’ it contained, but Johnson sometimes had difficulty with this.

For example, Johnson says:There were times when I had finished shooting for the day but felt a bit shocked. Fortunately, things went a bit better on my way home. A large glass of wine helped too!“
One of the reasons for this is that her colleague Jamie Dornan occasionally went too far. The actress continues: “There were quite a few painful moments. At one point I suffered whiplash when Jamie threw me on a bed. That was really very painful“.
Mistake
At one point Johnson also did something that left her with some bruises: “This is a scene shot in Christian’s kitchen. I thought it would be funny to hide in one of the cupboards“.
Dakota, also known for Sound of Metal and The Lost Daughter continues: “However, this was not very convenient… They are not real cabinets, so the moment I close the door the entire set collapses. Everything fell on top of me“.
