It was announced on Monday that the joint trade union front at De Lijn has submitted a strike notice for the province of West Flanders on Thursday, November 9. An alternative timetable is now available.
The stop pages and line pages on the De Lijn website and in the app show all journeys that will take place next Thursday. Rides that are canceled will not be shown.
The transport company points out that there can always be unforeseen circumstances that cannot always be planned, as a result of which additional journeys are canceled on the day itself.
The strike notice is an extension of previous actions following an announcement by management that a number of depots and maintenance centers will close. About 280 full-time jobs will therefore move to other locations. The unions did not submit a strike notice for the other provinces.
