These are the best apps and games of week 19 in 2024

Over the past week, a lot of apps appeared in the news and new games appeared in the Google Play Store. We have listed our five favorites for you, so that you know what is worth downloading.

1. stats.fm

Do you also look forward to Spotify Wrapped every year? In this overview, music streaming service Spotify shows what you listened to during that year, who your favorite artists were and which podcasts you followed. With the ‘stats.fm’ app you can view your Spotify statistics all year round.

You can see exactly how many songs, albums and artists you have listened to and easily share an overview with your friends and family. And of course you don’t listen to the same music all year round, so you can choose certain periods for which you want to see the statistics.

2. Sonic Mania Plus

Attention retro game fans! Sonic Mania Plus is available on Android smartphones and is a tribute to the old Sonic titles that were released at the end of the last century. Of course you run, jump and roll through the iconic levels and collect gold rings.

You choose which character you play as and imagine your way through levels full of puzzles and challenging bosses. Please note, because the game is only available to people with a Netflix subscription.

3. Weather flash

We all take the weather into account every day: whether it is the question of whether you should wear a raincoat, or because you like to take the shorts out of the closet. With Weerflash you no longer have to rely on unclear weather apps, but just ask someone who is already outside!

With Weerflash, users let each other know what the weather is like at their location. Such a message then appears on a map in the app, so that everyone has a clear picture of the current weather. Handy and challenging, because do you often provide good weather reports? Then you climb up the rankings.

4. The Enchanted World

Those who like minimalist puzzle games should try The Enchanted World. The game hit the Play Store this week and already has over 10,000 downloads.

In The Enchanted World you travel through a magical world, full of puzzles and riddles. You have to solve them to save the world. The design in particular looks great. Please note, because the full game will cost you a few euros. Fortunately, you can play the first levels to see if it’s for you.

5. ten ten

With ‘ten ten’ you are connected to your friends and family members at any time. Once you add them, you can start a walkie-talkie conversation without interruption, even if the other person’s phone is locked. You will then sound loud and clear from the speaker of the other person’s phone, regardless of who they are.

Fortunately, you can mute people temporarily, so that you don’t hear strange comments during your important job interview, for example. The app makes connecting with friends and family a bit more fun and accessible.
