Focal markets the Hadenys with open ear cups as passive headphones that are mainly intended for use at home. The model has a timeless design and is equipped with honeycomb grilles, genuine leather, a breathable headband and yoke made of woven fabric for even more comfort and lightness. According to the French manufacturer, the headphones offer a warm, dynamic and detailed sound.
The Azurys is also a passive headset with a physical cable connection, but with closed ear cups. This model is not only suitable for use at home but also for use on the road. Focal provides these headphones with the same construction and materials, but gives them a unique bluish tint.
The Hadenys and Azurys are equipped with drivers that we know from the Bathys headphones, the first wireless headphones from Focal with Active Noise Canceling (ANC). According to the French manufacturer, the 40 millimeter drivers with aluminum/magnesium ‘M’-shaped dome are perfectly matched to these passive headphones.
Both models will be available for purchase from June 2024. The Hadenys sells for 699 euros and the Azurys sells for 549 euros. Each headset comes with a matching colored carrying case and necessary cables.
