“I try to be present as much as possible at birthdays or parties,” Hayen concludes. “Although I did miss my son’s solemn communion due to the match against Antwerp FC. In such a case, I try to contribute via video messages. The children are also used to it. They both play for STVV and train five times a week next to their school. It’s ingrained, isn’t it.”
