It has been more fun to be a Standard supporter. Amid all the commotion surrounding owner 777, the team will play its 8th game of the Europe Play-offs against Westerlo tonight. Although it is possible that the match will not take place or that it will be stopped.

The supporter groups Ultras Inferno and PHK have announced a protest action in a press release.

The fans are dissatisfied with the situation the club currently finds itself in since the takeover by the American 777. In addition to the sporting malaise, there are also financial and legal problems for the owner. As a result, the players are currently no longer being paid.

“Mafios”

“We are experiencing the darkest page in the club’s history,” said Standard’s supporter groups.

“This mafia company circulates money from one company to another without investing in its proper functioning. Today, their fraudulent actions have pushed them into a corner and the results are grim.”

Our club needs to be sold again as soon as possible!
