The financing for the modernization of the R4, or the R4WestOost project, has been completed. That was announced today. The Working Company will collaborate with the BRAVO4 consortium // With the R4WestOost project, the Flemish Region wants to modernize the Ghent ring road. Among other things, there will be a significant improvement in comfort for vulnerable road users. As a result, access to the port must also be improved in the long term. The Belgian Infrastructure Fund today agreed to become the main shareholder for this project. And that for an amount of 1 billion euros. To this end, the infrastructure fund works together with several industrial partners within BRAVO4. The works will last until 2031.
