There is a shortage of police officers in the province of Antwerp, it is estimated that between 400 and 500 people are needed. That is why the police, with the support of the province, organized a job day at Campus Vesta, which attracted around 750 interested parties. Minister of the Interior Annelies Verlinden and Minister of Justice Paul Van Tigchelt also stopped by. “The tightness on the labor market also affects the police. With a job day like this you can show the many facets of the job,” says Paul Van Tigchelt.
